About Me

I’m Colin Knoll

I am a senior business strategist and management consultant, that doesn’t just “consult”, but I execute.

I help ambitious CEOs, mid market businesses and economic regions prepare for the future and transform.

Better may mean cutting through the noise and defining what a clear strategy that is actionable.

Better may mean helping your organization get investor or financing ready, helping close a funding round or obtain growth capital.

Better means building operating systems to make your organization productive and strategically sound. 

As Head of Strategy at Firma Foreign Exchange, I helped grow and transform this financial services business, position it to get investor ready, ultimately achieving a ~$90M sale to OFX in 2021. 

I then co-led the integration of the two financial services businesses Firma and OFX before joining Servus Credit Union as Director of Enterprise Strategy & Innovation, where I led and drove the strategic agenda that helped create the #1 largest credit union in Canada, achieving the enterprise strategic goals of $40B AUM, 3000 employees, and nearly $1B revenue. 

I have worked with countless organizations, ranging from high potential startups, to mid market businesses, to civic organizations, helping them solve their most pressing challenges. 

Outside of business pursuits, I am a Board Director at the Association of the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured (ARBI).

Adventurist and Part-Time Explorer

Outside of business and leadership pursuits, I chase the edges of the map. I have hiked and trekked through the ancient landscapes of Canaan, Costa Rica; explored the remote Andaman Islands in India, and often seeking out places that challenge my perspective.
